“Staff at the rising sun were incredibly friendly and very accommodating when myself, my partner and our baby were looking to eat dinner on a Saturday evening. We hadn’t been organised enough to book but despite being very popular they managed to squeeze us in early. The service was excellent and so personable, the food was fantastic and flavourful. They also had many options for my partner who is gluten intolerant. The owner of the pub is lovely. We will definitely be recommending to others :)” – John

The pub stocks an amazing range of real ales, all kept at perfect temperature along with a great selection of wines, ask the owner for any recommendations. Absolutely fab… I went for Roast Pork, my friend had Roast Beef…I have to say best Roast I’ve had in absolutely years…no frozen food here, everything cooked to perfection extra side of cauliflower cheese amazing…my friend had the chowder to start, I helped myself to her soda bread, heaven! My ‘smaller’ plate was a very generous helping. We both squeezed in desert, apple crumble and custard…who wouldn’t!
